This is my THANK YOU page

To start off with my thanks are there for my Father & Mother; Virgil M. Kester Jr. & Marlene Kester.  Marlene was the one who had spent many hours on the family genealogy, putting it all together from scratch.  Back in 1982 when I was hurt at work, and laid up in bed, she started to give me copies of things she had come across or put together, it only took a little but she had me hooked.  Then she presented to me her genealogy files and I took over from there.

To someone who is not with us, who put together a ton of Kester family information back in 1904.  Mr. John E. Hunt, who compiled the information used in "Pound and Kester Families, containing an account of the ancestry of John Pound (born in 1735) and William Kester (born in 1733) and a genealogical record of all their descendants and other family historical matter."  The first edition of this book was put out by Regan Printing House, Chicago in 1904.  This is a 628 page book, just loaded with Kester family information.  Thank you Mr. Hunt.

And then a big thanks to everyone who is and has been part of "The Castor Association of America".  This is a non-profit association for those folks into the genealogy and history of the surnames; Kuster, Koster, Custer, Kusterd, Kuester, Kester, Custard, Kustard, Kistard, Kister, Gerster, Caster, Castor, Kastor, Koester, Kiester and Keister.  This group has been a great source of information over the years.  They have also published books, one of which is the "The Descendants of Paulus and Gertrude Kusters", (300 pages).

I am listing below just some of the great groups that have helped me over the years with my genealogy.
